Prawn and Chilli Linguine

This recipe is super quick, tasty and delicious. 

Butterflied king prawns are quickly cooked in a hot pan with garlic & red chilli before being tossed in cooked linguine & rocket (rucula).


Serves 2

Ingredients
 
12-16 King Tiger Prawns (raw)
2 devil eye red chillis
2 cloves of garlic
4 Tbsp Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper
100g Rocket (Rucula)
100g Butter
250g Dried Linguine
Grated Parmesan

Cooking utensils
Chopping board
Sharp knife
Saucepan
Wok

 
Preparation
 
- De-vein & butterfly your prawns
- Chop your chilli & garlic finely

Cooking
- Cook linguine in salted boiling water as per the cooking instructions
 
- Heat your oil on a hot wok and cook your prawns with salt & pepper for one minute
 
- Add your garlic and chilli and cook for a further minute
 
- Turn heat down to low and add your butter
 

- Add half of your rocket & cooked linguine and toss completely
 
- Serve on a warm plate with grated parmesan & decorate with the other half of your rocket and a slive of lime/lemon
